| I'm pretty sure that the last game I came to that when I was putting away my mask my lens fell out. It would have been on the path from the flag area to where he and I parked on the main road right near where you guys turned in to park closer into the field.
I know it's a LONG shot but figured I'd ask.

| SOB! Fireman, I'm so sorry. I saw it yesterday near the parking area while chatting it up and didn't even think to pick it up. I think I may have noticed a part bent on it but maybe that was the angle...the rest of it looked perfect. I can't believe I didn't even think to pick it up. | |

| Yeah, the sides that go into the mask are bent. I figure the thing would crack before it would bend. Hopefully it's still there. :-) Can someone grab it for me and leave it at Shar's for whenever the next time I can make it out is? | |

| Shar, any chance you can get over there and grab it if you know where it's at? I'm watching an auction that ends in a day or two for a new one and am curious if the old one is too beat up/scratched to use. | |

| Did anyone pick this up yesterday when you guys were back out there? If so, thanks! If not... thanks for nothing! | |

| I got there late and the game was done...I forgot all-together. I may run down there wed. though because in the ever-so-short time I was there I managed to lose the other side of my flashlight mount hopefully where I parked. It's enough to make me drive 30 minutes to get especially with a face shield in the same location. I'll let you know. | |

| Fireman, I'm sad to report that your lense, though recovered, is unusable. A tab on the side is folded and cracked and another area near the bottom near the cheek somehow folded inward too. I was not able to recover my lost items. I need a super magnet!! | |

| Thanks for letting me know. I figured it would have been pretty beat up being in the parking area and all...
In the meantime I found one on ebay for 15 shipped. About 5 bucks less then a new one anywhere else and it's got brand anti-fog coating which will be nice. The lens I lost was a "Thermal Lens" where the layers peeled apart so the main lens I had left never really was as good against fog as it should have been...
See you at the next game... Through my new lens. :-)

| Woot woot! I found my missing pieces. They were in a piece of gear that I don't normally bring so I didn't think about checking it. Moral of the story is that no one will lose anything for long at Fire Zone. As long as friends are near, don't have fear, you'll never have to say good bye to your gear! Disclaimer: Anyone named Shar, the above claim, promises, or guarantees in completeness or adequacy of contents, including, but not limited to the references to any specific information and convenience, processes, or services, may still have lost gear on the field. | |
