- or we could do a sniper vs. fire teams operation. here is an example. sniper has to recon a vip that is protected by 5-7 man fire team. he has to ID the primary target on limited intel. he then has to radio back to command and answer a set of questions or deliver a SALUTE report.
Sniper then will recieve instructions to take out his primary target and must move to an extract location without being killed/captured by the opforif any opfor is needed i will volunteer for it as long as i don't have to hunt down Geist. I like this idea. I've always enjoyed the idea of incorporating technology, (iPhone, laptop, digital camera, ect.), into a game. Sniper team has to trek a ways, creep up to their objective, observe, locate key personnel, send it back to their JOC, and from there they get their orders, be it to put rounds down range or to hold for a conventional force to attack and support their effort. Obviously it would take lots of patience, not for the faint of heart, and would be a time-consuming task. Probably not for the usual weekender, but for a good sized event it would be pretty cool. Anyone else? | |
