due to the CQB game in April and the fact that alot of players have limited experience doing CQB I think that we do a small CQB Seminar like we did the sniper seminar a few months ago. in the mean time here are some videos that might help a little.

We're gonna need this when we go to that warehouse in Ft Pierce. Did you ever see the office hall and rooms there? We never did get to play in that area that day.

Okay, first thing I learned is that after you double tap, you kick in the nuts to make sure he's dead...maybe we can reserve this for zombies!?

That CQB has limits correct? Like 400fps?

Honestly I think CQB is and should be 350 and less. Your usually within 10 feet upon encounter and you can't have everyone yelling bangs.

if i learned anything from these videos, it is that next time i shoot someone and they mumble hit, i'm gonna go kick 'em in the nuts to make sure they are dead

At the beginning of every game i make sure to remind people to throw up arms at a minimum, because with my gun I cant even hear the HIT!
Ill keep shooting, so thye better not go into the fetal position!

I went through the Blackwater training CQB and VIP protection course back in 2003 in North Carolina before they were called Xi. I would gladly help out from what I remember but it consisted of a lot of flashbangs, IV saline Bag breaching charges and stuff really not that practical to Airsoft play.
Now the tactics of going through a kill house I remember but as sixfootcow said most of actual real CQB takes place around ten to twenty feet and due to bang rules doesnt make a real good tactical advantage for the secondary team clearing a room with the breaching team yelling bang in one room. I never played CQB airsoft so I dont know how this issue was dealt with. I can tell you that doing room clearing with simunitions (9mm paint rounds) hurts a hell of a lot more at ten feet than a burst of airsoft bbs.
But the good thing about doing it with sims is the mags hold 30 rounds unlike the high caps most people have. I think if we were to do some strictly CQB games there should be a low or mid cap requirement, that way you dont have some rambo holding down there trigger going into a room.

I'm down for a CQB training seminar. I also dig the BB limit for CQB games. I dont have any mid/low caps but being limited to only one or two 300 round high cap per senario would help deter the Rambo syndrome. I also think it would be cool to do hostage/non-combatant senarios to prevent guys from spraying as they enter and be more precise and delibrate with thair tactics.

What's the FPS limit for this place? I may need to put my gun back to stock for this event, since my gun is so HUGE

That video is BAD ASS!! I bet they had as much fun filming that as playing in a real game. Probably got some trigger time too.
