Has anyone ever ordered any mystery boxes from Kapowwe or Airsoftgi? I just ordered one from Kapowwe as well as some broken guns to fix up cause I want to fix up something.

PostSubject: Re: Mystery Boxes?   Thu Mar 04, 2010 1:41 pm

I got two.

In the first one I asked for a Sig 556 or "guns that take M4" mags.

Ended up getting two Palco brand with DPMS Panther Arms trade marks M4's. Upon closer inspection and research I found these to be JG brand with JG parts inside. One worked out of the box, one needed a new piston. The one that worked shot 356 out of the box.

I also got the same company S-system which seems to be either an older JG (silver gearbox rather than black "SB" gearbox and plastic bushings rather than metal. It only shot about 308 but it worked.

I also got three random Sig p228 springers without magazines and a "Taurus" Co2 bb gun and the same Co2 airsoft gun that shoots about 350.

In the SECOND BOX I asked for the same thing as the first and the idiot misread my request. I got three Sig 552's, one is made for Canada (upper and lower are clear plastic but same quality ABS as the other two). It has a metal gearbox and shoots 330.

The other two are JG/cybergun brand and both needed some work to get functioning properly. One had a problem with the trigger and safer, the other one I have yet to crack open.

I also got a few more Co2 pistols of various caliber (4.5 and 6mm) another mag for that airsoft Taurus I got before which I asked for and 4 plastic high cap M4 mags.

So while they somewhat fucked up my request the second time, I'll get another again in the future.

I ordered the $75 box from Airsoft GI and got random parts. I don't think anything was complete but I did keep a few items for some rifles. The other stuff I sold on Ebay and made a bit of profit in the end. I see they don't offer the boxes from AGI anymore.

Yeah I wanted one of those boxes cause I never ordered from kapowwe before and dont know if I can trust them. But if it is halfway decent stuff than I will order from them more often as they are a lot closer.

Its ACU I like it cause it is halfway decent in all-terrains as long as your not in direct-light soon as you go in light you light up like a christmas tree. I have some multicam on order cause it does the same thing but a million times better in forest environments which I still dont believe it lost to ACU during the military testing.

They say you cant train cats but I guess a full auto AK is a good start to getting them to not scratch the couch.

PostSubject: Re: Mystery Boxes?   Mon Mar 08, 2010 6:49 pm

I've got a third one on the way.

The last one had a shipping weight of 38 pounds...

This next one, 49 POUNDS!!!

Hopefully I'll get some good shit. They do say "Third time's a charm!"

From the first one though, I sold the S-system for $100.00 and still have the other two M4's. One I plan to sell, one I plan to make into a patriot still as a side arm to my bolt action.

The second box that came with the 3 Sig 552's, I sold one on ebay, am supposed to trade one for another gun and plan to keep the third which used to be the "Canadian" clear upper and lower (still high quality ABS though). I painted it with my favorite Krylon camo black and it looks great. Even at 330 FPS it's REALLY accurate. I got 3 kills this weekend with it as a pain to carry side arm to the bolt action.

EVERYTHING IS FOR SALE EXCEPT THE nice M4 and the Sig 552 mags. Make me an offer!

From top left:

3 bb guns, the "Pietro Beretta" (bottom in the line of 3) is actually really nice. The box says it was made in Russia. Razz

The next row of pistols are all airsoft, top 3 are Co2, the lower clear one is a cheap springer and the lowest one is a green gas powered Desert Eagle. It also came with an adapter to change over from green gas to a remote line... For some reason I feel like this part itself could be worth some cash.

Random crap red dot, 2 random so-so vertical grips, 2 sig 552 high caps (I asked for these), cheap ni-cd 8.4 battery, two better Nimn 8.4 1100 sticks and one good 9.6 NiMh stick

Bizzare L96 stock without any more of the gun... (may be good for someone who wants to paint it for a different setting... to switch out with their current stock)

Cheap slings, random mini light, random plastic pistol rail, 4 AA batteries, random PEQ type mini LED flashight

high cap Mp5 magazine (fits standard Mp5's). It's actually nice, just clear as per Canadian Law. BB's feed into the top on the left and the magazine on the right goes into the gun.

Top M4 is a cheap-o Walmart one where the magazine is the battery (I got an extra mag/battery too) and the scope holds the bb's. The gun shoots 130 FPS... Sadly funny...

The next one is another craptastic plastic gearbox M4 that has a rear stock battery connection and takes normal magazines. It actually shoots near 300 FPS...

The Crown Jewels...

"Full metal" (ABS lower, metal everywhere else) M4 RIS system with crane stock. I had to replace the Delta assembly because the collar that screws down to the receiver was cracked in half. Oddly I had one of these parts "sitting around". The top rail was also cracked, had one of these "sitting around too". Now I've got a perfectl 330 FPS gun with a really nice body.

Mp40 Mostly metal, only plastic is the brown lower. The gun is quite heavy for it's size. Has some sort of electrical problem I need to fix.

I\'ve got a buddy that may want the MP5 mag if you want to get rid of it. Let me know how much.
I might want the L96 stock if Geist doesnt want it. Shoot a price.

That L96 stock is for the Mauser SR sniper rifle and the sling is the sling that comes with it and its absolutely horrible and will break under the weight of the L96 but it would be fine for a lighter rifle. I tested out the two clear CO2 S&W 40F I got and its actually pretty nice and shoots decently hard.
