Posted. Tedder, carry this on as you want, as it is your thread on FA, but I think that less sarcasm and analogies will get you much closer to your goal here. You do not want to appear as if to insult the moderators, as much as you want to incite the changes that you see fit.

At the same time, you have a couple elitist douche bags who don't want to cooperate. Fuck them, and aim for the people on top. I'd aim for the owner of the site, as it is HIS policy, and not the Mods, that you are trying to change. However, the mods are at fault for the wrongful treatment of the minors.

Lets stay focus and try to be polite to one other. I am sure we can work this out with every one. No need for madness. Please, please , please lets stay focus on the finding an agreement point. We are all friends . Crying or Very sad

You can't win an argument because even if you win, you lose. You have made your opponent feel inferior. You have hurt his pride. He will resent your triumph

Lets listen one other first: Let the other person finish. Try to understand them. Lets promise to think over your opponents ideas and study them carefully. why and what did they have done what they do! We Must try honestly to see things from the other person's point of view.Don't get me wrong, I am not saying be sympathetic with the other person's ideas and desires. All ki am saying postpone action to give both sides time to think through the problem. Lets stay focus and seek for a peace!!!! we only lose is we give up fighting for the peace. This is noting to do with being Big Man . Remember all, when you find peace within yourself, you become the kind of person who can live at peace with others. Remember In war, there are no unwounded soldiers.

Remember geist, I fought with facts and constructive ideas, they chose to strike through trying to:

Ask why i even have an opinion. As if I didnt matter to them.
Laughed about how it could be worse. Which identifies they know there is a problem.
Could not even realize the whole post was not about underage players, yet continued to harp on it, and still said I didnt see their views, when they didnt undertsnad the thread.

I got tired of the BS and started calling them out for it.

Yeah, I love how it always turns into an "age" thing overthere every time somebody tries to comment about the "holier than thou" mantality that alot of the guys are getting.

When you start pointing out the kind of attitude things that are turning players our way, they get very defensive (understandable). But if you make the mistake of using an "age-ban" as an example, then it will spin of into the "we dont allow kids here" discussion.

Yes, it is worse on other forums (airsoftsniper.proboards) but thats not the point and why should they compare themselves to a site that is worse. They could just take the constructive critisism and try to make improvements.

At this point, I really only check thier forum to try to catch the "under age guys" or "new guys" that are getting the "you noobs suck" treatment and link them over here. It seems that alot of new guys that post there get the cold shoulder becaus nobody seems to want to take the time to answer questions or just does the usual(complete dick move), "heres the link, use the search function next idiot."
I personnaly like talking about airsoft and dont mind answering questions to new guys.

Anyway, I was involved in airsoft for over a year before I acctually went out and played a local game because I was nervous that I would get the "you suck new guy" treatment at the game.
I played yith a couple of buddies on private property up until the first game I played with Firezone which is the only guys I roll with now.

I didnt post my thoughts over there because I figured it was wasted time. Everytime this subject comes to light on thier forum, it always ends in the same manner.

Rant over, lets have some fun.

The funny thing is we had some 16 yr old guys play with us today that live nearby, (Ive run into them a couple times while building stuff) and they played excellent. Honorable in calling hits and very good shots, like hitting my forehead. Smile

I think that if Firezone is going to allow minors it should be they have to play with a parent and the parent should have to sign a waver. And I agree with Tedder the way FA handles this sucks they come across as DICKS a little bit of diplomacy goes a long way. FA is giving the whole airsoft community a black eye with this policy. I hope they are watching this post and a little common sense will be used. We need to portray airsoft in a positive light. Bob.

Why is it that there are epic arguements on FA like once a week where peope insult each other and on firezone we've only had one thing close to it and the discussion stopped while it was ahead hugs and kissed happened afterward?

What topic was that? The kid in the SS uniform?

Ed reminded me of the truck one... Is that it?

I was thinking about the one you had with Wolverine, ironically about minors.

things were a little hostile on the truck, but we also got that sorted.

Awwww yes. I was a little mad, felt my words were getting twisted around.

Thats my only real fear in airsoft. Whiney kids parents, not the kids, the parents.

Well it all got sorted out, you guys stopped while you were ahead and no one had to lick there wounds to much. It's natural for humans to disagree, you guys were pretty mature about it compared to what happened on FA.

I know what I said on there wasn't the best thing to say, but it was NOTHING compared to what they said.

They (FA) had zero valid arguments and if they would have understood a word I said, they would have been cornered...

Unfortunately their minds are like a 3ft wide hallway that goes on for infinite miles in a perfectly straight line. In other words theyre narrow minded and cannot see past the words on the internet and what they actually mean.

Tony made some valid points. But I think we should stop this thread, were just sort of channelling hate now and it's bad mojo. I'll post up the conversation I've had with Tony via email when I get a reply.
