As a vehicle tech nut.
You shoul always put the donut on a non-"drive" axle due to the difference in overall diameter which will cause the two sideds of the differential to rotate at different speeds.
This difference in rotational speed will destroy the clutches in the differential.

Yeah when you turn tight corners it would shake and jerk, since the wheels are trying spin at different speeds.

It was a good game but at least we didn’t let them have it easy as the last time. I have two things to say, if we can do this two things I insure you we could tie the game.
1) Let’s fix the radio conversion problems. ( new radios and commands with it) We must unite the radio use and commends. (It will make the info flow super easy and take the minimum risk on friendly kills.) Last game our SAW guns kill more friendly than the enemy.
2) Take the command on kids that you playing with. They must take orders. They can’t open on a field without your orders. Second game we had the upper hand. We were cutting their numbers down as we can at the same time they didn’t have the element of surprise. Tower knew how many of them and what direction they were coming from.

No one said you did or you didn't. any one has a 50 + rounds on his gun can be a squad automatic weapon. I see some kids has the same mag as yours . Don't get touchy on me. lol!

The second game friendly kills before the wolfpack got to us were thanks to a guy I brought and my Tommy gun... He was laying north of the road from the tower, the guy with all the bars in his ear had snuck back without us knowing and was walking around DIRECTLY where I told my friend the Wolfpack would try to come from. Very Happy

I had no idea it was friendly either until I heard comments on the radio.

Just goes to show that communication is important. Especially if you plan to move into thick brush into ambush location that could get you mistaken for an enemy when you're friends can't see what you're wearing.

On a side note, that last game when I got lit up by my own side while fully exposed to my own side was NOT a communication problem but a lack of target identification... Still not sure how solid OD was mistaken for Multicam... Especially from 50 feet away. I know who shot me but I'm not going to call them out as they know who they are. (Hopefully...)

Just goes to show that we need to use more communication when we move, get better at identifying targets and be a little less jumpy on the trigger.

I think another main problem is everyone goes commando. We specifically asked some guys to stay around the tower to defend it. Well, they heard the firefight and went to go help. they died , one by one.

We really need to establish groups of players as a unit if they are moving, and refrain from leaving our postions. If the enemy is killing our guys, then that means they have an advantage where there are. When someone goes commando and tries to engage them, it adds to the disadvantage. Unless called out there specifically, it doesnt need to happen.

If we play with medic rules like they do, there needs to be a buddy system, so you can heal each other.

And if your buddy/buddies get shot and you know you're up against a large force, fall back and lay low so you can medic your buddy/buddies when the enemy has passed.

ABOUT THE RADIOS:
we need to make sure everyone has a WORKING radio that can receive AND send without blocking everyone elses channel. theres always a guy with a VOX that fucks it up for us.
radio is key.

And Geist needs a boom mic for when he's talking quietly :-) The throat mic only picked up the deeper tones and couldn't be understood.

I had the same issue with my throat mic before. I had to talk WAY too loud to be understood with it because of the tone of my voice. :-/

Something like that. Too deep a voice and it picks up everything so you can't distinguish words. Too little bass and it picks up nothing. I had my wife try it for kicks and she didn't even get picked up. That was with an IASUS too. Very Happy

Hey Guys,

On behalf of the Wolfpack I wanted to thank everyone for coming out. We had a great time and we learned a lot of do's and dont's for hosting events, it will only get better from here on out.

As far as the team balancing goes, this is an issue that will definitely be resolved before our next game, going into the first game the count was 14 WP vs. 21-22 Visitors. We need to have the wolfpack split up a bit so that we can make sure field knowledge is shared equally between the teams. If you noticed the difference in game type between our first event and our second you'll see that we tried to reduce field navigation for the visiting team. Hence the stationary locations that were tasked to be defended.

If anyone else has any comments/questions about yesterdays game PLEASE let us know by posting on this forum. I said it before and I'll say it again, we know how to take criticism and we'll work on whatever we have to in order to make our games better.

Look for our next game to be in late June - early July. Or maybe FIREZONE could host a game so that you guys can have the home field advantage!

See you all next time,

-Sam

Hey Shar,

We have 6 HD camera's that were at our field this past weekend. We'll be posting up edited videos sometime later this week. Should be amazing.

Can't wait for the next game at your place. Looking forward to it.

Sam,

i dont think we should split you guys up. We need to get better as a whole, as tactics were not used much at all. If these kids want to beat you, they have to work for it, no point in making it easier.

Alafaya, It may have been me that shot you in the first game. I saw a tanish person mooving near your general area but I couldnt tell the exact camo. I laid down about 300rds at that guy.

Friendly fire seems to happen a lot between the Firezone guys.

In the last game, Geist and I were at the 10 o'clock of the kill house than stalked around to the 1 o'clock position. Everytime we started to move through the open, we got shot at from the direction of the kill house. When I would get on the radio and say "There are friendlies moving at 11,....12,....1 o'clock of the fire base." I would get "There are two enemy at 11,....12,....1 o'clock of the fire base.....They must be right on top of you!".
