| Stronger spring?
This is a gas pistol. The "300-330" quoted is as good as it gets. Unfortunately, you can't put a stronger spring into a gas pistol to improve it's FPS.

| A better rubber still won't get you that high. :-) Sorry!
I put one in mine and gained a whopping 5 FPS... :-/
Remember, my pistol only shoots about 305 and you were still REALLY impressed with it. FPS isn't everything. Especially not in a side arm.

| what about a tighter barrel? do they make them for pistols? is it possible to fashion a short one by cutting a long 6.03mm? | |

| Yeah you can get a tight bore for pistols. I've got a 6.01 in mine but didn't see a huge jump. The problem lies in the length. I had used a barrel that got bent in another gun (silencer got stuck behind the spare tire on Stinger's Jeep). When it was 190mm I was getting 370 FPS but it was sticking about 2 inches out of the gun. When I brought it down an inch I lost about 30 FPS. Another inch and I was down to about 305. Stock power is about 290.
It's all about how much pressure can be built up before it leaves the barrel. Unfourtunatley, there's not a lot of time for it to build up in pistols so you sort of get what you get from the gas with the minimal help from a few air compression items here and there (like the rubber and the barrel).
You could try hi-flow valves on the magazines but even those may not give you much of a boost.

| nothing like my extreme 45 g&g it shoots 460 easily bc they placed the mag right into the top of the receiver that is THIER secret. now what about accuracy with a 6.01 ? i find pistols to be not accurate with stock barrels | |

| I thought your 460 gun was C02? If so, that's the reason it shoots so high.
Pistol accuracy is mainly about the hop up though the barrel does help too.

| One of these days, I want to get Shar running around looking like either Agent 47 from Hitman or Jason Statham in The Transporter. You know... he has an asian chick in that movie. | |

| You can usually replace the slide/guide springs to increas FPS a little. Most GBB upgrades will only net a few FPS each.
Ive got high flow valves in the mags, a heavier slide spring and hop-up bucking and I picked up about 15 FPS over stock. I picked up about 15-20 FPS with propane over green gas.
I'v though about adding a high flow nozzle/chamber and TBB but I dont think the price is worth the extra 15-20 FPS.
The gun shoots 345-350 FPS now and the bucking made a big difference in accuracy.

| You only want to use the thing as a secondary anyway. | |

| I've only used it in one game, one time. My M4 mag ran empty as I was flanking two guys at relitively short range, so I drew it and lit them up. The only reason it worked out for mr was they were taking cove behind a PB bunker. They were reloading at the time.
I dont even carry it most of the time.

| Alright. I'm going to tell you guys my idea. I'm going to get one of those rubber katanas and use it as a secondary. I think Tyler is looking into buying some other stuff too. Forget knifing people. I'm going to wait till you go to take a crap and then run after you. | |

| I'd have to go after them. It's why I don't buy grenades. Tornadoes are so expensive that if I went to throw them, I might try to hold on to it out of reflex. | |

| Try this: It will make retrieval easier. You might want to extend it a bit for use with 'nades. | |

| Actually, I should design something that looks like the little ghost trap from Ghostbusters that you can slide and use it to throw bb's everywhere. | |
