Geist if you are gonna give input, at least back it up with some reasoning.
I think a tank is better than both...
Shar if in fact you decide to go G36 over the Scar, then I suggest the KWA.... Internally it is probb the best G36 ever.... Externally they are all the same gun IMHO....

I like any Ares gun. With those, you can swap out the springs without having to open up the gearbox. You could swap out the springs depending on where you're playing to meet field limits. That way, you can shoot 420-450 at Firezone and then put in a much stronger and more painful spring when you're around FA.
Anyone gets caught doing such a thing (swapping springs after chrono) is typically sent home without refund. Sometimes banned from the field...
So not worth it just to get a little anger out... :-/
i dont think he ment it to screw with crono. it is a good feature though

I wasn't saying that towards Shar.
I was saying that to all the new guys who are coming on here and see such a thing being suggested without the experience to realize how bad of an idea it is.
There's a reason we have so many retarded warnings on products now. You look at them and think "really... am I THAT stupid?"
Someone was... Or else the warning wouldn't have been put on the product. :-/ Sad but true, sad but true.
In other words, if this site/field is going to be come an under 18 place, we may want to be somewhat careful what we suggest in the case that someone actually goes and does it. :-)

No wories, I will give you a reasoning. I have a SCAR and G36 . I have many AEG's .SCAR has Ver. 2 gear box vs. G36 ver. 3 gear box. G36 Comes with 3x scope and you can get a adap. and you can use m4 mags with it. SCAR and G36 are all super and I do agree with you on KWA .
I had a much more problems with my G36 than SCAR. They all do the same thing.

The mag well conversion is sort of temperamental. Magazines wobble a lot, you lose about 9 bb's because of the extended feed tube and on some magazines you have to sort of rock the magazine into place awkwardly or it does not lock.
I used to think the magwell conversion was such a cool idea. Now... not so much.

Thanks man, the only reason I wanted more info is because in all honesty, the only difference in the 2 once you add mag conversion is the weight. At least most noticeable.. Rail space is also an issue on some G36 models. I actually like G36's as well. Just the solid feel of the SCAR has me sold...
Piggyback on my previous Hop Up statement... The nozzle on Scar's is slightly longer as well. So if you make any changes to that area, keep that in mind.
