| Everything ive heard about those dimpled paintballs they are actually worst than a high quality paintball. I think the biggest problem with this idea is you would have a lot of air escaping around the ball when its going down the barrel. And plus thats why we have hop-ups | |

| Cool.. I just though it would be sound as there must have been a reason they made golf balls with dimples instead of being smooth...? | |

| Well it makes sense because the dimples do give lift but golfballs dont have to travel down a barrel so I just think you would get a lot of air leakage | |

| Thats actually an amazing Idea because you could dial the voltage for CQB and field play. Now the biggest problem with this idea right now is electronics you would need banks upon banks of high voltage discharge capacitors and not to mention relays to to upconvert your voltage to around 200KV which isnt a problem cause stun guns do this but the biggest problem I see is the Electromagnet around the barrel whcich would not look like a very pretty gun. Heck the current railgun is an ugly monstrosity plus if someone were to due this it would be very easy to make your gun into a real killing machine by cranking up the voltage you could probably easy get 1000FPS | |

With some fitting, hose, regulator and a nitrogen tank, I can make Geists Tanaka M700 shoot 1000FPS. It only costs about $10 parts and hour of labor and I have a 50lb nitrogen tank in my truck. I could have it ready for the next game. | |
