I talked to Shar and he asked me to give everyone ideas on this subject.

If you have an alice pack or alice pack frame it would be best but basically a green or black back pack would do.

What can be done is to put a box of some kind in the pack or have a frame with a box on it and then attach ( screw, tape or glue) an antena, half a fishing pole or 1/2 inch pvc pipe to the box. Attach the hand held radio you will be using to the box with a telephone cord or a string. Then paint it OD green.

This will bring another level of realism to the game because all the snipers will know who is the RTO and the CO/NCO of the squad because the CO or NCO will have to be next to the RTO to call on the radio. Also since Shar has mortar teams in place this will let the enemy commanders "cut off" a squad from its support.

I would think a CB radio with a rechargeable battery would be an ideal conversion for this good thinking.

Did the PRC radios have the tape antennas or another style? I was wondering because I know you can get those long stick type antennas for CB's. Heck I think I have a hand held one for emergency use that plugs into your car cig lighter that might work. Build a wood box to the rough demensions insert cb radio attach to an Alice frame and you should be good little paint little magic. Laughing
