Kinda off topic, but even thogh I've played at the Firezone a decent amount of times, I have no clue what he looks like. Does anyone have a picture of him so I know what he looks like?

Hmmm...about 5'4" reddish hair...usually comes all geared up. He has a good WWII outfit if I remember right. He's usually quiet like I am so could be missed in a large group.

I feel bad that he got mad, and wish he would have stopped so i could have spoke with him. By the time I got to the respawn he was packed up and gone. All I saw was an SUV going mach 1 down the entrance road.

Well I hope he made it home okay.

Here we were bitching at FA for being dicks and you guys go lighting a kid up for 6 mins after he calls hit. Whats that doing for the Firezone reputation.

I think that we should have people call hits like in paintball when you are hit raise your hand or gun and call hit. If you only call hit the noise of the game keeps you from hearing the calls sometimes. Bob.

I know that I prolly wouldnt have heared him at that distance. I almost always release my AEG (slung) and raise at least one hand and yell hit.
If you've played long enough than you've been lit. 99.99% its an accident and not the guy being a dick.

Im the worst at it when im on the firing end. I have to warn everyone at the beginning of the game that I cannot hear over the SAW. If you dont move, I continue to shoot. If I realize I shot longer than I should have, I usually yell out SORRY or MY BAD to passify the other persons anger.

Youve all probably heard me say it before...

Sometimes people just get mad in the heat of the moment, happens to the best of us.

That was the mature thing to do dude, Tedder shot you by mistake but leaving before you did something stupid because you were mad was the smart thing to do.

Do what Tedder does to get used to it... Stand about 3ft in front of a privacy fence and shoot it until either your mag is empty or you cant take the pain anymore.

I was on your team... i didnt shoot you. I watched it though...

In all honesty you didnt throw up a hand or act like you were shot. The guy who shot you was over 100ft away and didnt hear the "HIT"... I was 50 ft away and didnt hear it, until you got mad.

It sucks man, but its part of the game. At least you didnt shoot yourself in the face like I did.

And the game wasnt ruined. So no big deal.

In Tedder's case shooting the fence might take a minute or five assuming he doesn't end up putting a hole in it first.

Anyway, look at it this way Kingwing, you could have taken most of your hits to the head or face today like I did. I'm still working on getting rid of the small headache I have from it. As much as you don't want to get shot or shot at you have to walk into these games expecting it to happen.

Next time if this happens you can go back to the cars and take a few minutes, get some water and cool off, talk to us if you're having problems or any concerns. Other than moving targets we're there to help if you're having problems while playing. I'm not saying you shouldn't leave. If you feel that is the right choice for a given situation then that's what you should do. What I would hope you would do next time though is talk to us instead of leaving us wondering what happened. It will help us to figure out a solution that works for all involved.
