| Okay. Yeah If I get my hands on it I'll get it up to 500+ FPS and put a Lipoly battery in it haha. | |

| I mean, technically you can do that. Infact, one of the main reasons I got it was because of a youtube video this guy made of his, which was shooting in the 578 fps range hitting targets at +300ft. Lipo isn't really necessary. I just run a large type 9.6v in it. Works beautifully. | |

Nope. I've never done that to any of my guns. Don't really know how, I'm not mechbox savvy. I mean, opening is the easy part. Putting back together is where I'm afraid to be. Lol.

| Nice. Yeah I think lipo wouldn't do much... Yeah if you don't know what your doing with the gearbox then don't do it. I took my M4 gearbox and now its everywhere! It would probably be working today.. | |

| I can take gearboxes apart and put them back together, but that stupid motor on the V2 just doesn't want to work for me. | |

| Fireman said I should just solder the wires together instead of getting a connector and stuff. Is there a way I can get the gearbox back from Evike. Or if they don't have that one in stock then maybe a M130 or something. | |

| Heh. You can try, but Evike is pure evil and will eat your babies. I have some Bravo motor connectors. I vaguely remember telling you that I could have put those in then and avoided this whole sending back to Evike issue? Skye's gun needs them too. | |

| I say get the refund and use the money to get something else. An SR25 perhaps? Or a secondary? | |

| Maybe that would be best... I really wanted to get my M4 running though. But JG isn't really that great of a base. The Secondary CQB gun I'm getting cost $300 *lol* | |

| The body of your gun is fine. It's only a gearbox issue. Honestly, you might be able to put it back together with what you have and fix whatever was broken the first time around. | |

| actually warrior, i think a FireFET and a lipo on that SR-25 would be great. would give it a great trigger response and sense its not full auto you dont need to worry too heavily on tearing up gears shooting 50 RPS like shwell and everyone else... | |

| I'd go with the FireFET to save the gears. Lipo might be overkill. | |

That's what I was thinking! Would it be that fast of a response though? I guess faster then a 9.6v aye?

I know what I'll do! I'll get a cheaper gearbox for my JG M4 and fix it up keeping it under $120. And I'll use it for a spare gun if someone needs it or if I just wanna play around etc. So get me that refund

| Same thing, but Fireman makes MOSFETs so Shwell started calling them FireFETs. | |
