| Well I figured it would happen my nicest gun is down I suspect the shimming might be Effed up because I keep blowing fuses but good news is I will be dropping it off at firemans today so he can take a look at it along with another upgrade which will remain silent . | |

| He's going to have Fireman enable god mode on it.
I'd be scared also but he's on my team so as long as he doesn't get spooked and shoot anything that moves any upgrades he wants and can afford are great.

| Probably a pinched wire at the gearbox unless that LiPO tore something up. I suspect your going MOSFET to reach the magic 30 RPS. | |

| Let's hope it is minor, like the piston head coming loose or something.. | |

| He put a lipo in a gun that doesn't seem to have been "lipo ready". Then again, what the hell does "lipo ready" really mean? I think the true definition of "lipo ready" is when the owner is willing to put the time and money into a gun they keep breaking because they want to use a lipo. That 14.8 battery I got from Holden has already destroyed two guns and may be melting a motor but the purr I get from the gun is just addictive so I keep throwing more parts and money into the airsoft abyss. | |

| well i put one of these in the fn2000 gear box http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_75_390&products_id=31076and i replaced the air nozzle because it had a seal leak, and the piston o ring. i cant use the stock spring because its the weird "hook to the fucking piston" kind and so when i changed it, thats when the motor started seizing... and it needs a shim job, and a new motor, trying to work on that now.... oh and fireman i already took the weights out of it.... my biggest disappointment in the gun is that it uses the gay 2 piece hop up.... grrrr | |

| I take those springs and just dremel off the hook. Did you put the new spring in with the metal piston head spacer still in place? If so, the spring plus the spacer may just be too much material when compressed to allow the piston to pull all the way back and be released.
Can't believe it had weights... :-P
The gun was already shooting 380's. I wonder what it's doing now with the new nozzle and o-ring!

| Yeah I liked that FN I always like that gun wish they didnt stop making them. By the way Fireman whenever you open that KWA up let me know how the internals look I would like to know if I should beef them up in the future. And as for LIPo Ready guns personally I feel if you arent ready to spend money for repairs than dont use them but the purr they make and the instantaneous trigger response even without a mosfet is worth it in my opinion.
As for the KWA still being a good gun or not I still believe its one of the best guns out their for the money i think I just happened to get a fluke one cause it was never really shooting at peak performance which is another reason I wanted Fireman to take a look at it. My only gripe with the whole gun is its a little long for my liking so I may be investing in an SR5 for the future.

| Lipo Ready is a Myth, and is def more along the lines of what the above mentioned.. from my experience (money Spending), Lipo Ready means you have invested time in a great Shim Job, money on better gears if needed, and an open mind to breakage.... And I will also add that a MOSFET on an 11.1v or higher is a MUST in my opinion and extensive melt downs of trigger switches.. | |
