| Thank you to those that helped clean up the field after the game was kaput! I had a fantastic time out there on the field trying to creep through the CANAL OF DEATH. You guys up in the tower pretty much saw all movement. Thank you to all that helped rebuild the top of the tower, Tedder and Ed I think. Saves me from having to work it with Sharky who likes to throw tires at me! There were probably some non-hit-calls and probably some assuming-hit-disgruntles but I think most everyone did a great job being honorable or remaining cool when those situations arose. I can't wait to play along or against you guys again soon. I'm glad to see the turnout and excitement going on, it makes the hard work of setting up structures and the sometimes grueling hard work very much worth it all. Till next time!! Eric | |

| I had a great time out there today and enjoyed meeting then shooting all the new people out there.
There were a few instances of no hit calls and a few minimum safe distance engagements issues (I was shot from two feet away) But seeing that there were a lot of new guys, cold weather, people wearing jackets and everyones adrenaline pumping I guess a little of this is expected.
I really did like the field and the different options for movement and tactics in the available terrain. If a few more structures were to be added on the outskirts of the field it would force all players to utilize the whole field more.
I really liked the role play and how distracting it was when we were triyng to patrol. The action was intense and the coordinated attacks were awesome. Great job TKR for putting this event together.
THANKS to all the guys that helped one of our guys get his van out of the sugar sand.

| The not calling hits died off after the first game. I was surprised to see the one guy call his hits this time. We all know who im talking about. Maybe that one PLO game cured that haha.
The cold sure messed up a lot of guns didnt it? Mine just couldnt keep up the usual pace and ate batteries quickly. At first it hit 300fps on the chrono, then 330, then 360, then when I got out to the field, it felt like 300 again and dropped off.
Tactics were well played this time on both sides.
The tall guy Matt, (us side, light tan, army guy) asked his wife last night if he could get a gun...hes whipped.

| Good Times guys. Hopefully I can make the trek out there for some of the build days. I really like what you all have done so far.
I was dead and watchig as things unfolded during the first round... As the Red Force pushed closer to the BluFor Base, alot of new situations (Previously not seen) came to lite fo me.
1. If not for the use of grenades, the guys up top can be a force to be reckoned with... Seems like a tad bit of protection up there....
2. The Safe Engagement distance Rule needs some clarifying... Yes most of us regulars are aware of the 10 foot minimum distance... That was a problem in round 1... Something I never thought of until seeing it was the people shooting from up top... Shooting down on someone who is standing on ground level within 5 feet of the base, is also violating that safe engagement distance.
3. For future events, if there are as many New Players (New to the field), we need to ensure that the basic rules are discussed briefly. This could have possibly prevented the problems we had in the first round.. After that initial round and confusion, it seemed as though things got a lot better.
4. For future events, maybe 2 Respawn points per team can be established. This will ensure that no matter who the aggressor is, neither team has to go across the field to respawn.. Or at least a Midawy point (Equal distance between BAses) that can be a spawn point for whichever team controls it... the catch being, that you can shoot into it, but not out of it.. Giving an incentive to controlling it with tactics involved. If shot while in the Central Respawn, you have to leave it and go to your Main Respawn... *A total of 3 Respawns (BluFor, RedFor, and Neutral)... I think this would make for some very eventful exchanges, and also promote mobility from both sides.
5. Clearly define rules and limitations on gear before and uphold them during the games. There was confusion on the radio rule, and also Optics.. I def saw some RDS's on quite a few guns...
Those are just some things I saw that I think could have been approved upon.... The positives of the game far outweighed the negatives (Which were really only present in round 1)... I had a blast... And I def look forward to joining you guys on some building and playing in the future.... I REALLY do have a blast out there...
I hope the guns I loaned out wroked better than the gun I used personally. I think the only reason I only got hit 3 times all day was because I was too busy hiding behind stuff trying to fix my gun... Sounds like a reason to buy another gun I do not need...

| It would suck to find out he was the one who shot me in the back of the head while i was already dead... I caught about 20 shots in that burst... If it had not been chilly and Iwas wearing my regular head gear, that would have turned out really BAD..... They had a nice sting to them through my scull cap... lol...
Chadray, glad it worked for you. Hopefully I can get a buttpad for that stock... If you need it again, please feel free to ask... I just ordered a 9.6v for it today... Should make for decent ROF...

| no im in charge of the rank system. basically there are 3 paramaters 1. how many times you played 2. how many people you are in charge of and/or bring with you which will make your rank higher 3. how much have you donated of your time as far as manpower(construction help) etc to make the field better | |

| Sayeret Matkal is bed as it gets. They were the original developers of helicopter infiltration techniques in Israel. Same as a Shar ,I know from a facts. I know the fighters and commanders were selectively hand-picked, based on personal acquaintances. We used to call them Super Jews. If you are reading this I miss you my brother Avner. You are a good friend. Don't expect a big guys, they are all skiny and fast. | |
