| This is info I got from FA and TC's Sites... I talked to Tom quite a bit this past weekend. Some of you may recall the old SOCOM.. Well it is coming back, stronger and better... They are really pushing for a 6 Feb opening.. A little bit of Plumbing work and it should be a go. I would love to see us out there in full force one day. Maybe not opening day, but that would def be a great thing to see. I can't help but think about having somewhere in the Summer to go and play that keeps us out of the sun.... Enough from me, here's Tom... My name is Tom Pennay. Some of you may know me as Gravel from Team Delta 21. I, along with Victor Puig, “Arc Angel” am opening an over 13,000 Sq Ft Indoor Airsoft Arena in NW Ocala. It is 80% completed with an opening date hopefully of February 6th. I will update on the date as we get closer. It will have huts, bridges, towers and vehicles, everything to make this great sport an ultimate experience 6 days a week. We will have Equipment Rental, Onsite ProShop and Technical Services. Our website is in the beginning stages so please bare with us as it will be up to speed in a few days. | The pricing seems kind of steep. When I talked to the guy before, he said he would be willing to play with the prices if there was enough people going. I really don't want to run their bb's through my gun either.
Nice camera quality. | |

| Prices too steep? Compared to what?
As for the BB's, to each his own.. I did not have a problem with them in either of my guns, both of which run 6.01tbb..
Thanks, the camera is a Flip Ultra HD... With the right lighting it is outstanding.. The only downfall of this cam is the lack of image stabilization.

| Is the place bigger that what it looks like in your vid review? It didnt look like 14000 sqft. Was it that most of your footage was from the same AO and just didnt showcase the entire arena? I may try to roll out there with my son the weekend after the June 4-6 OP. | |

| Auto, keep me posted. We are thinking of taking a group of about 12 or so of us out there.
Shwell, I'm a student and can't afford to spend too much. The price of entry and price of their bb's seemed pretty high. Originally, I think I figured out it would cost me about $35 or so to play for the day. Maybe their prices have changed since? I'm really interested in checking the place out and want to make sure they stay around. I'm hoping that if I approach them with a guaranteed 12 or so players for a game, they might be able to drop the price a little and give us a group rate.

| You can go during the week on certain nites and the cost is much lower.. But $25 for just entry fee for all day play is not bad at all... Expecially with all the things they provide in order to keep game play enjoyable. But this is all relative to ones budget. I went today guys, and helped film a commercial, while I was there I was shown a very special surprise. It was still being built, but death from above should be in full effect by this Saturday. They are constantly working on ways to improve the enjoyment factor. inmedia, I sure they could work something out for you.. Just call aghead or check them out on the web... www.socomairsoftnc.com | |
