| Battery Source is generally in most big towns/cities, they can make them. Ok, they did 5 years ago, not sure about now. | |

| I know that Fireman is capable of doing it. You might ask him. | |

| What if I ordered a 9v battery for my SAW. Besides connectors is there anything I have to do to make it work?
Metal gears... | |

| 2 Questions....
Question 1 for Marc.... Why Nicd?
Question 2 for Tedder... What are you talking about? Do you mean just going from an 8.4v to a 9.6v? If that is what you are saying, then there is nothing you should NEED to do. As long as your gearbox is shimmed well and everything in it is healthy, it should handle a 9.6v well.
Not that you need anything faster at this point. | |

| Tedder, you're not talking about a 9v cube style battery, like for a electric lantern are you? | |

| Ha I found out through job training today that NiMH batteries in storage drain about 1% per day. | |

| If not mistaken, all but alkalines do that. | |

| They said that Lithiums have a 10 year lifespan and alkalines have a 7 year span. I don't remember what NiCD has but they have a shorter recharge life. | |

| The reason I orderded NiCd is because i have an old charger that I dont think it will work with NiMH. | |

| If I'm not mistaken, anything should work with it as long as it's feeding current in at a low enough, regulated pace. Is it a high-flow or "quick" charger? | |

| If you use it on that slow-charge mode, I should think that you'd be fine. Browse the manual and make sure it doesn't say "do not use on such-and-such batteries" of course, but other than that, I wouldn't worry too much. | |
