Practice pickup game March 28th for the April 3rd game.

Intelligence reports reveal there will be a training exercise this Sunday in the morningt(28th).

My unit will not be able to rally at the sortie but there were others interested in participating from the April 3rd topic post.

Tedder or Shar will fill the details here so keep an eye on it.

The teams will most likely be teams vs new comers. Depending on the turn-out there might be some change-ups.

My team is not planning to go to the game on the 3rd. Realized my mom is in town that weekend and the rest just don't feel like going after we did the video there. Not a fan of the location or such.

Is this going to be more of a pickup game or more of practicing moving around and radios and such as opposed to game play?

I have quite a few newbies coming this weekend so it'll be a real game.

i figured the teams that want to practice versus the newbies for some honing in on their skills. I think it would be kinda funny too.

I never thought of a scenario... Maybe its time to bring back capture the flag, defending the carpet base, etc.

I'm think I may try to attend. It all depends if I have my m16 up and running by then.

I second this! Those games are always a lot of fun. :-)

I'd laugh if the new guys win. While they may not have the "skill" yet, new guys always seem to play with more heart and excitement since it's all new to them. Many of us vets get lazy the more we play. :-P

What time are you guys thinking to be at the field? Is the road clear now? The ditches filled? Can a car drive in from the back down the road again or is jumping up the curb the only option?

You can still make it from the school, but you have to drive around the sand pit. Everyone made it last time except for a huge truck ironically.

So you have to go around the long way then basically? Come in from the school, pass the original road and the grassy area and then turn left where the sand is we parked at for the night game where I "drove" the jeep around and we were trying to find the GPS and down pilot and such.

Yeah I have a low car with ground effects w/intercooler in the front as well as low profile tires I had no problem going the back way in I did go the front way out the key is go at an angle. Now when you get to the parking area though I suggest not parking too far up cause that sand is a bitch and one person got stuck last time.

It looks like I'll be bringing at least 2 others with me.

What time is this gonna be starting up? Depending what time I might show up for this.

Tedder, can I borrow one of your M4s again for the practice? Fireman is still working on my P90 and it most likely wont be done before this weekends practice leaving me with only my sidearm. It's CO2 powered but still.

I fixed the front end of my "HUGE" truck Tedder, so no more rutting it out trying not to get stuck. (800lb ft torque, highway tires and sand dont mesh well)

I might try to get out but I may have to borrow an AEG as mine is still in pieces on my desk.
I will try to bring 2 more guys but no promises.

FYI...80* and 40% scattered T-storms on sunday. It shouldnt rain in the morning but will probably kick in early afternoon. So make it early.
