| I usually go to a pickup game out at Orange County Paintball every other week or so on Sunday and was wondering since I was probably going to go this coming Sunday if anybody would be interested in going with me. The cost is $20 (field admission not my choice) and I'm going to warn you there will be minors there playing so you guys wont be surprised. The only difference from Firezone is that these kids are 13 or 14. I'll vouch for 3/4 of them being honorable and a lot of fun to play with. The others I try to keep a slight distance from. If any of you decide to join me Sunday OCP requires at the very least full sealing eye protection.
Oh... and don't shoot the camera guy no matter how tempting it might be.

| Opheria, are you the guy I met at OCP? I was the one with the P90 and I think you went to Full Sail? | |

| Yea, probably. If you were the guy with the P90 with the silencer wearing blue shorts and I think a dark green t-shirt. | |

| Ironically, I'm wearing almost the exact same thing right now minus the P90. If you don't want to pay the $20 at OCP, we might have a decent game going on at Little Econ. If you're interested, give me a heads up. That, or I might head down to Firezone with one of the guys who always goes there and the sniper that was with us at OCP. | |

| If it's the sniper I ran cover for on my team I wouldn't mind having him on my team if he plays at Firezone on the 18th. | |

| Same guy. Plus, I have an MP5 and SR-25 on the way. Theoretically, they could both be here in time for this weekend. If that happens, I MIGHT let him use the SR and the MP5 as a secondary. Luckily, it's an Ares SR-25 and we can swap in a stronger spring easily if we need to. | |

| I just to want to make sure everyone understands we were not trying to step all over this game, we were just in the planning stages when this got dropped on the forum. No one has any obligation to go to the firezone game. If yall want a change of location, by all means check this place out. | |

| The OCP field is really cool. I'd love to go back there again. For $20.00 however, there's better be 40 people there...
I say we plan a day there in advance, try to get as many people in as we can and make the best of the field.
Opheria, the last few times you've gone, how many people showed? How much of the field did he let you use? Did you have to share it with paintball or did he keep both groups pretty separate?

| Thanks for the welcome. We have a guy who constantly goes to OCP. He's young, but managed to pull out 18 people last game without even trying. Most of them were good, but a couple of them didn't quite play by the rules. I don't know if it was because they just aren't the law abiding type, or didn't quite understand gameplay. Either way, you can usually deal with those types of people by breaking out a hot gun for a round or so and they get the hint. Also, they have a pretty nice chrono setup there and a helicopter. The owner was talking to Opheria and myself about putting on some kind of scenario in the not too distant future. I'm thinking something in the summer would be the way to go.
Anyway, I can easily round up about 20 people if given two weeks notice. Their days for airsoft though have to be Sunday because they make all their money on Saturdays with paintball. We'll know by Thursday if we have enough for OCP or our Little Econ field. I'll just go where the gameplay takes me.

| @Fireman: The last few times I went there were easily 15-20 people there like inmediasres mentioned. As he also mentioned they only host airsoft games on Sunday but we usually have free run of whichever field we want to use. We've played in practically the entire wooded playing area and normally play team death matches on the city field. There have been people playing paintball when I've been there but we tend to stay separated fairly well. I think I've only been randomly shot once and that was by some other airsoft players who were also having their own game. My group ended up drowning that guy in BBs.
@Tedder: Doesn't matter to me either way I'm not the host. I just figured I'd see if anybody wanted to tag along this coming week. They usually have a good turn out every two weeks or so. Plus the change of scenery would probably make scenarios more challenging since people might be less likely to know there field layout.
I was originally nervous to post this here because I didn't want to step on anybodies toes. As far as planning for a game there in advance how about May 2nd. It doesn't conflict with this Sundays game and is far enough out to allow everybody to see if they have anything going on.

| Yeah I think it may be cool to do if we can get enough people. Unless they have built up a lot, as someone else said, it's no Wayne's World though. They do have the little speedball city and the random bases here and there in the woods. Unless they have built more, I'd not be willing to pay $20.00 to play there without a GOOD turn out. I'd prefer to have the same or less turnout and play at Firezone for $3.00-4 or $10.00 for a larger game.
I've got to admit though, the TC game on Saturday made me look forward to more $25.00 games at Waynes' World. Such a good deal! The only part that sucks is the drive :-/
Then again, from me... OCP is a haul too... Bithlo and all.

| Firezone is about a 20-35 minute drive depending on traffic so it really isn't that short of a trip for me either. | |

| I live next to I-4 so I can be anywhere in little time. The problem is I think Wayne's World requires bios. I really don't want to spend money on bios to run them through my tightbores unless it is REALLY good. We were going to go to the game this weekend, but the bio thing and the rules being rather complicated are a turn off.
And the price. I like avoiding too much spending.

| I know I shouldn't say it but...
Raise your hand if you've been to Wayne's World and they asked to check your bb's? :-)
I'm not saying I've not used bio's but I've yet to have anyone ask me to see the bag. I also don't flaunt my use of non bio's when I've run out of bio's either. The bolt action, they could care less...

| The bb thing is what is stopping me from checking out Socom too. Honestly, unless you own the land, doing anything airsoft and not dipping into paintball too is just a fast way to go broke. | |

| yeah... at Socom it's a bit ridiculous. I don't want to put TSD's through my 6.01's either. :-/ The price isn't bad, just not the bb's I like. | |

| I've talked to the owners on the phone before they opened, and it sounds like they're game to discussing things with you. I think if you approached them and said you were going to have a certain number of people come, they might cut you a break. I'd be willing to pay them whatever their markup is just to use my own bb's and know that my game will go well. We'll see what happens and if they stay open or not. Hopefully, they can find something that works for customers and their profit margin. | |

| There is another game at WW that has 60+ on the roster now. It $25 of course. The guys putting it on are running a basic scenario and trying to keep it as active as possible. Its the first time I'll be playing at WW and with 6mmjunkies. Shwell says thier game have a lot of trigger time and action. | |

| 6mmjunkies are basically TC games accept more younger child friendly and more basic ops. I haven't been to one personally but I haven't heard a bad thing about them.
I'd make it out there if I didn't have Sunday going for me right now.
