| No, no, no...your limiting the wrong thing! If we are to have asian women on the field we need to limit clothes not joules! Geez! | |

| Fireman- Sorry to ruin your fun, I was inspired by Cartman from South Park. "I'm sorry, Minors are not allowed on the casino floor" "I'm not a Miner, do you see a shovel in my hand?" | |

| Just to confirm, was 16+ the decided age for Firezone games unless otherwise specified (as 18+) or are we going lower if they are related to a known player? (ie: someone's son/daughter)
I ask because I saw the 15 year old guy post on the pictures of the Paintball world game and wondered where the line had been drawn.
For the record, I don't mind if we go younger. I do feel that 15 should be the cut off for a person playing alone without a parent along side them or on site. Anything younger than that I feel that a parent should be present at all times.

| I'll vouch for most of the 12-14 year old kids at the game last night. From what I've seen playing with them before they seem pretty responsible and the ones that are questionable I don't think were there. | |

I can see that but at the same time, wasn't it hosted by Firezone? Unless the field owner has a problem with it, if Firezone is hosting a game any rules Firezone wishes to impose should be followed.
Personally, if I were to host a game at a field and say that I wanted something specific with regards to who could and could not come and then the owner told me that was not going fly, I'd find somewhere else to host the game.
Because it was a rule stated here by you guys and not by me, I feel ok asking if they had parents with them or if they just got dropped off and then picked up again when it was over. I know we don't have many rules here but we really need to stick to the ones we have.
I can't say for anyone else but I'd feel bad shooting at 12 year olds. It's the same age I teach and not something I feel right about. :-/

I dont think it went as low as 12, I think there might have been 2 or 3 14yr olds. I didnt run into any problems, other than they like to sprint everywhere and theyre harder to shoot...

Then no problem! :-D
Also glad to hear about them being more 14+. I know they are still tough, it's just a personal thing about not wanting to shoot the 12 year olds.
It's got to be some sort of mock "paternal" thing in me. About as close as I'll ever feel since I have no intention of ever having kids. :-P I see the "poster children" for not having kids all week long! Ha ha ha

| It is technically a negative thing to teach young kids anything with 6mm death. That's why I agree parent participation to be crucial. | |

| For the record Badtrooper, you're the reason I'm a proponent as of recent of under 18 being allowed at games. You've truly proven to me how mature and honorable a 15 year old can be.
I'd still like to see 16+ rule but you make 15+ not "seem so bad" :-)
The way I'm thinking is that we should say 16+ does not need a parent to be present but needs a parent to come to the field and see what it's all about at least the first time. This was stated before by Mark I think and I really liked the idea.
I would really like to see us make the cut off at 13-14 but only allow so young when they are playing with their dad or a family member or such. I recall a guy who has played with us a lot wanting to bring his 13 year old son out to play with us. This is an example of where I'd think this was fine.
On the flip side, having a mom drop off her 14 year old and go shopping is BS. We're not babysitters and we're not going to be held responsible for them to such an extent.

Aw thanks, I try my best to act mature, when I was talking to Ivan via email he was nice to me but he kinda treated me lower than I'm used to. I try my hardest to be mature and I'm going to be bringing my Bestbuddy Matt out here soon with his dad, there a great bunch of guys.

| Fireman I get where you are coming from but you might change your mind a little if you play paintball there , they have two kids that are about 11yrs old , there world champion awards were on the wall in the office and they play with honor and will lite you up and show you no mercy. They are small and fast killing machines. I know I was on the wrong end of there barrel . Lol. Bob. | |

| There can be a 10 year old that can be honorable and what not, but it really all comes down to the person himself. I mean if there is a problem with somebody cheating or causing trouble its easy to say you can't come back... Right? | |

| What ive never understood is that people think its an age factor. Sure there are some idiot kids with even more idiotic parents, but there are grown idiots that play with us, and some are 30+
I have never questioned the kids themselves, just the parents inability to raise their kids.
Hence why I want it to be where the parent has to play or be on the field the first game a kid plays, then come and sign the waiver afterwards. That waiver is getting signed in front of an admin, and not being taken home because a kid can just forge a signature and the parent can play dumb about knowing the kid plays with pellet guns.
